I cannot speak highly enough of Spanish Highs, myself and the mad bunch I’m lucky enough to call friends have just returned from a fantastic climb on the Playa De La Mata (Killer Mountain) near Granada.

Having hiked around Ireland and scrambled Snowden we felt we were looking for a decent challenge.

Our guides on the day of the climb Jens and Felipe acted as teachers, historians and photographers ensuring the climb was a fantastic experience. From the pickup in Granada to the highest point on the mountain there was chat jokes and fascinating conversations on the history of the stunning trail.
