We were staying in Granada and wanted to go for a long walk in the mountains but really did not know where to go or how to get to the trail head. Emma at Spanish Highs organised a guide for us and all interactions were prompt and very efficient. Sean (our guide) picked us up in Granada and drove us into the Cumbres Verdes where we spent a day hiking up to the peak of Cerro del Trevenque and back.

We saw several Iberian Ibex including one with large antlers and a number of wild birds including a massive Griffin vulture. Sean was extremely knowledgeable about all of the flora and fauna and guided us around a loop that was challenging but never out of our comfort zone. A great day out - thanks Sean and Emma!
