The weekend trek went well, the ascent at some points I found bit harder than expected but it was my first time up a mountain this high. I'm hoping to convince a few more friends to hike up to Mulhacen, if things go well I hope to be in contact again to arrange help for winter ascents, winter skills training, a guided winter ascent etc.
