Coming from Asia (Singapore),this is my first solo trip to Spain's Andalucia. I must say this hiking experience is THE highlight of my trip!!! Richard and Kirsten made me feel very comfortable immediately when I met them. They are very knowledgeable guides who shares lots of their experience during the hike. They have also added some exploration elements, i.e. trying out a slightly more challenging short cut, digress to search for owls and eagles etc...this made the experience truely unique.
Moreover, I get to climb up a steep rocky hill to take a gorgeous photo...I have decided to name that hill after me...hehe...Cumbres Verdes is mystical & spectaculat route with ever changing surroundings from deserty to greenery pine tree forest to river flowing down the gorge...Highly recommend Spanish Highs to anyone interested in hiking Sierra Nevada...you will not regret!
