We went off the beaten track and never saw another person all weekend, tapas, beer and wine awaited at the refuge then we were guided to a 3000m+ peak. Amazing views and great company from the guides and Rita the adorable dog. Brilliant.

Our family spent the day hiking in the Sierra Nevada, amidst clouds, sun, a little rain, and totally enjoyed the scenery and being in this gorgeous area. Richard is so responsive with communicating and helping to ensure everything will go smoothly. Victoria was enthusiastic, professional, exuberant, and a lot of fun for our family!

Spent a cracking few days with Richard Hartley and friends in Lanjarón which we used as our base for hiking in the high Sierra Nevada mountains. A day scrambling on Penon de la Mata and a fantastic summit day on a snowy Mulhacen. From the 1st email to the goodbye handshake the trip couldn't of gone any better. We will definitely be returning

Thank you very much for a lovely trip. I loved reaching summit of Mulhacen and this was made possible by Felipe and Andrew. Thanks to both of them. I did not like the heat and arrived back to rain and cold and even whilst shivering in my flat on Saturday night I was so pleased to be back to the cold.

We spent six amazing days with Spanish Highs covering a huge range of mountaineering experiences. From Alpine gulleys and peaks, through ice climbing, ski mountaineering, a stay in an unguarded refuge deep in the mountains to grade 1 and 2 scrambling, and Via Ferrata. The region is simply stunning and I was deeply impressed by the quality of the guides. Richard and his crew were professional, friendly and also knew the best watering holes!
